Questions about compress video
How long does it take?
It depends on the video’s length and your device. Progress is shown as the video is encoded, and you can cancel at any time.
Which browsers are supported?
Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari can encode MP4 (H.264) and WebM (VP9) video. Firefox can’t create AAC audio, so MP4 output there needs “Remove audio” or WebM; you’ll be told if that applies.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Audio and video are processed in your browser with its built-in codecs, and are not sent to a server.
